"It ia an immense pleasure to introduce " Saroj Mohan Institute of Technology" (SMIT), established at Guptipara, Hooghly by the Govt. registered educational society named as "Institute of Modern Studies". Late Saroj Mohan Chaudhuri, one of the pioneers in the field of Engineering education, founded the institute with an aim to provide qualitative technical education that facilitates the social development. Here the students are getting opportunities to gain competence and excellence to face the global challenges in the field of technology.
